It is designed to promote interest in the art of belly dancing and encourage people from all walks of life to experience this beautiful art. Belly-dancing.info also serves as a portal for professionals to showcase their performance portfolio and publicise their training schedule to would-be belly dancers from around the world. About the creatorsThis site has been developed collectively by a small group of performance artists from Australia. We believe that the arts of physical expression have a liberating and healing quality that nurture the inner spirit and child within. We believe we should never stop learning, never stop exploring and never stop playing. Dance and physical theatre is one such way to achieve this. With the tools of the internet at our disposal, we wish to support like minded artists and offer a means by which to publicise these arts to the world, and so in turn invite others to challenge themselves, learn new skills and above all, have fun!What's the catch?It's free. It will remain free. There are no catches. We are not harvesting contact information for underground marketing firms or criminal organisations. (Promise!) Publishing costs are absorbed by small text advertisements on some pages within this site. As such, nobody is out of pocket and we have no need to charge you for your listing. Simply enjoy!Where does my information go?All information submitted in performer and trainer registrations will be transparent and visible to the public. This directory service is intended to publicise the services of trainers and performers, and as such, most registrants wish to leave a trace so that visitors to this site can follow up booking requests. If you wish not to disclose certain contact information, simply do not submit it on a registration form.
