Introduction
AshleyPerformance Group from: South London, London, United Kingdom (available for travel) Ashley has been studying Middle Eastern Belly Dance since 1995, at the age of 15 with Nahida, a local and international renowned dancer. Ashley started performing in the Folkloric troupe "Dancers of the Nile" one year later under the artistic direction of Nahida. In 2000, she began performing in restaurants, weddings, nightclubs, multicultural and special events all over British Columbia's Lower Mainland. Ashley dances regularily all over Vancouver, and can also also seen performing in White Rock, Ladner, West and North Vancouver and in Surrey. To date, Ashley has had the opportunity to perform in Canada, the United States, Turkey, the UK, and was a featured headliner in the "Young Stars: Sunidhi Chauhan and KK" Bollywood Concert in Trinidad with Universal Concerts in December 2004. She has appeared in many newspapers and magazines as well as on televison. Ashley is widely known for her expressive and personable performances that stays true to the pure Oriental style of Raks Sharqi. She is a polished dancer who loves to perform and has experience working with live musicians and bands.
