Solo Artist from: San Francisco Bay Area, California, United States (available for travel) Hannah Romanza has scoured the aesthetic landscape of ethnic dance from Egypt, Turkey, and Iran through Morocco and India; to as far away as Tajikistan in her splendid fascination with the enchanting-beguiling and exotic dances of the East. As a seasoned performer on the proscenium stage, she draws her aesthetic impulse from many years of study in both Eastern and Western classical dance, and her irrepressible penchant for pulsation never fails to enrapture the sensuously-inclined. In addition to alluring and sophisticated classical Middle-Eastern performances, Hannah can provide a wide repertoire of stunning folkloric displays replete with spirited articulations and gestures, captivating balancing acts, and vibrant costuming. Hannah Romanza holds a degree in Dance Ethnology from San Francisco State University and is founder and director of Danceversity, an educational program designed to introduce world dance to youths.
