Introduction
SerenaSolo Artist from: Los Angeles, California, United States Serena has had various dance training throughout the years, including ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, Polynesian and ballroom. Dancing has always been her passion and pursuit. Her love for Middle Eastern dancing began in 2001, when she observed a belly dancer perform at a Greek restaurant. Since then, she has studied with Angelika Nemeth and Lilla Varese in Orange County and is currently a member of their professional performance troupes. Serena teaches beginning through advanced level belly dancing, focusing on Egyptian, cabaret and fusion style in Irvine, CA and is also available for private and semi-private instruction. Her teaching style also incorporates ballroom and Polynesian influences in her belly dance classes. Serena is available for hire for: Weddings Birthday parties (adult and children) Anniversary parties Retirement parties Corporate functions Special events Hula grams Festivals School activities Group and private instruction And more (no bachelor parties, please) Serena can accommodate a show based upon the nature of event and type of dance style requested. Shows can range from 20 minutes to two hours and additional dancers can be hired, if needed. Audience participation is always included and is a fun and integral portion of the show.
