Introduction
MiaNaja al SephiraBelly Dancing Instructor from: Columbia, Maryland, United States Mia Naja al Sephira teaches Egyptian and Lebanese Cabaret style dance. She also performs Double Veil, Cane(Raks Assaya), Tray, and other folkloric forms. She is the Director of Troupe MiaNaja and is a member of the NDC under the direction of Lotus Niraja. MiaNaja is available for travel for performances and events. MiaNaja has performed at the Fells Point Fun Festival, Maryland Renaissance Festival, Amaya’s Shake and Bake Dance Festival in NM, the Five Seasons, Nile Café, Cazbar, restaurants in Baltimore and the Casablanca restaurant in Alexandria, VA as well as various Diversity Programs and events in the MD/DC/VA area. She has been featured featured in on WJA-TV-13, WMAR-TV-2, Fox 45, The Howard County Times, Columbia Flier, Columbia Magazine, and the Maryland Bar Bulletin. She has studied Flamenco, Ballet, Modern (Humphrey-Weidman technique), African and Jazz. She is Certified Level One in Amaya technique, and Suhaila Salimpour technique.
Classes are on Tuesdays and Thursdays 6:30 and 7:30 pm. Private lessons and Choreography available. |
