Sandra is founder of Sahara Dance based in and around the Hull Area. She has been a dancer for more than 25 years taking numerous qualifications in various forms of dance such as Ballet, Contemporary Modern, Jazz, Latin, Salsa and Tap. Sandra has studied with the JWAAD school and has been awarded a full Teaching Diploma in Arabic Dance with Distinctions. She has also studied with numerous UK based and foreign teachers such as Kay Taylor, Heather Burby, Anne Kingston, Yasmina, Randa Kamel, Sara Farouk,Raqia Hassan, Ida noor, Fifi Abdou to name but a few. Sandra is always striving to advance her own skills and continues to regularly study with her mentor Kay Taylor and attend as many dance events and workshops as possible, both to perform and continue her study of dance.
Sandra has been teaching in East Yorkshire for the past 7 years and her friendly and accessable approach combined with her expansive knowledge of dance in all its forms make her classes interesting, informative, vibrant, varied and great fun to do.
Sandra is founder of 'Heneya' a performance group incorporating dancers from Yorkshire and Lincolnshire and she has recently been given the post of JWAAD Assessor for the Hull and Humber Region.
